Apple Pay Overview

Apple Pay is an easy, secure and private way to make purchases. To pay, just hold your iPhone®1 near a participating merchant's contactless reader. A vibration and beep let you know your payment has been accepted.

An Easier Way to Pay

You can use Apple Pay on your phone, iPad Air, iPad Mini 3 and Apple Watch with shopping apps such as those for Target®, Panera Bread®, Petco® and Uber®.

A Safe Way to Shop

Using Apple Pay is safe. When you use Apple Pay, your Oklahoma Central card number is not stored on your phone or given to the merchant. A unique Device Account Number is created specifically for that device. Your payment information is stored in Passbook/Wallet. You still enjoy all the benefits of your Oklahoma Central credit and debit card, including our Zero Liability policy that protects you from unauthorized purchases.

A Simple Way to Get Started

To get started, you need an iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus or Apple Watch with iOS 8.1 or later. Simply add your Oklahoma Central credit or debit card to your Apple Pay account with your iSight® camera or by entering it manually.

The first card you add will automatically become your default payment card. You can go to Passbook/Wallet anytime to pay with a different card and add or remove any of your cards as needed.

A Secure Way to Protect Your Account

If your mobile device is ever lost or stolen, you can use the "Find My iPhone" feature to quickly set your device in "Lost Mode," disabling purchasing ability and the ability to get into the phone without a PIN entry. Or, you can wipe all information from your iPhone.

A Convenient Way to Shop

You can use your Oklahoma Central card on Apple Pay to pay at more than 220,000 locations, including:

  • Bloomingdale's®
  • McDonald's®

When I add my Oklahoma Central card to Apple Pay it doesn't look like the card in my wallet. Why?

Apple Pay uses a graphical representation, not an exact replica of your Oklahoma Central card. It also uses a unique Device Account Number, which is different than your plastic card number.
