Board Member Elections
We have one board members to present for election for a three-year term. Let’s meet the candidate:
Penny Cheffey – Tulsa, Oklahoma
Incumbent - Director since 2009
Penny Cheffey has been with Magellan Midstream Partners located in Tulsa, Oklahoma since 2012. She has served in various finance and human resource functions with her previous employer, The Williams Companies, and with her most recent position at Magellan managing compensation and benefits. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Tulsa and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Penny served as a volunteer of WilServ Credit Union Board of Directors from 1996-2007. She also served as an Advisory Member of Oklahoma Central Credit Union Board of Directors from 2007-2008. Penny’s hobbies include cooking, traveling, fishing and target shooting.
Susan Phelps – Mannford, Oklahoma
Incumbent - Director since 2016
Susan is the owner operator of Phelps Market in Mannford, Oklahoma. Her father and mother, Bill and Harriet Phelps, started the family business in 1969 where she has grown up and worked all her life. Today after building a brand-new store almost five years ago, she is carrying on the “Old Fashioned” customer service that she was taught by her father. Susan, along with being very community-minded, remains a staple of the business community of which she is very proud. Susan has been honored as Citizen of the Year by Mannford Chamber of Commerce and was selected Creek County Entrepreneur of the Year in 2013. She is an active member of the Mannford Chamber of Commerce, Pilot Club and COBB for Creek County. Susan is an only child but was blessed with six children and eleven grandchildren and is very involved with her family.
Andy Murphree - Tulsa, Oklahoma
Incumbent - Director since 2003
Andy Murphree is a financial leader with American Electric Power Co. (AEP), one of the largest electric utilities and transmission companies in the United States operating a 39,000-mile network. They have a strong focus in technical innovation service.
