Easy Checking Options for the Jenks Community 

We have a couple of different checking account options at the Jenks branch of OCCU, and all accounts come with their own perks and are easy to set up! With each account, you can get a free debit card, unlimited check writing, Smart Deposits, access to online banking, overdraft protection, and more. Each account is also insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration and an additional $250,000 by Excess Share Insurance. CareFree Checking

Our CareFree Checking accounts are easy to set up and require no minimum balance or monthly fee. The only 'minimum balance' you need is $25 to set the account up; after that, your current balance doesn't matter! You can reap the rewards without any worry.

Speaking of rewards, CareFree checking comes with free debit card points and perks you can put toward various rewards. OCCU makes it easy for you to access online banking and a mobile app to manage your account, pay bills, deposit checks through the app, obtain eStatements, monitor your credit score, and much more! All you have to do is set up an account with us to easily gain all of these benefits and more.

Momentum Checking

Do you want your checking account to work harder for you? Then our Momentum Checking may be right for you.

With Momentum Checking, Jenks members can get cashback for everyday spending, and all you need to do is use your debit card fifteen times or more for non-ATM transactions per qualification period. As with CareFree checking, there is a $25 minimum balance to open the account.

Momentum Checking accounts provide the same features as CareFree checking accounts, though the courtesy pay jumps from $500 to $750, and you can start earning interest on balances up to $50,000.

*APY - Annual Percentage Yield effective 01/01/26. Rates may change after account open. Dividends are compounded monthly. $25.00 minimum balance to open Momentum Checking account. APY earned based on the following tiers and requirements: 6.00% APY earned on balances from $0 to 9,999.99; 3.00% APY earned on balances from $10,000.00 to $49,999.99; 0.00% APY earned on balances over $50,000.00; Momentum Share Draft Accounts must meet the following account qualifications to earn the qualifying dividend rate and APY: Fifteen (15) Non-ATM debit transactions per qualification period. No dividends will be paid if all requirements are not met. Qualification period means a period of thirty-one (31) days preceding the 27th of each month. Fees could reduce the earnings on the account. Membership conditions may apply.
